Puli Veterans Hospital is the only public community hospital in the Greater Puli District. Implementing the government policy, we are responsible in taking good care of all veterans, and with the help of so many, provide citizens with the best medical care.
For the past two years, as the result of the excellent performance of all members, we have accomplished the following missions such as “The New Standards for Hospital Accreditation”, ISO 9001:2008 Certification as well as the establishment of the e-Hospital. On the completion of these important systems, the quality of our healthcare services will be significantly upgraded.
Though the Department of Health has raised the national health insurance rate to 5.17%, the Bureau of National Health Insurance (BNHI) has still encountered a financial crisis. By the year of 2012, it is estimated that the financial deficit will reach 60 billion NT. The implementation of the global budget control in parallel with the Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) system has even worsened our difficulties in the management of hospitals. Under the decade of uncertainty, the healthcare situation has been spirally fallen into decay. However, to uphold the culture of charitable service and provide the best of medical care are still our firm missions. |
